Welcome to the Student page of Idsall School’s website. Students will find many useful pages within this section such as year group information, who to speak to for advice, homestudy links and much more. This page contains links to useful information relating specifically to whole year groups which we hope both students and parents will find useful. Mr C Bailey is the Assistant Head-Behaviour and Attitudes, who has an overview of the pastoral system for Key Stage 3 and 4. The information below has been collated by the Heads of Year for each year group, and contains details of who to contact for advice and assistance, key diary dates, assembly reminders, lists of tutors, houses and lots more.
House
When students join Idsall School in Year 7 and the Sixth Form they are placed into 1 of 4 Houses – Long Mynd, Caradoc, Ragleth and Wrekin and remain in the same House throughout their school life. Placing students in Houses enables inter-school competition at all levels as well as creating a sense of belonging.

Assembly occurs in the Main Hall. and students should go directly to assembly at 8.50am instead of their usual tutor room. Punctuality is as important on assembly days as it is at daily registration.
