Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is a sum of money that Idsall School receives for students:

  • Who are in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM) or have been in receipt of them in the past 6 years
  • Who are adopted, looked after or have been in the past (CLA)

Nationally, the statistics show that students who are in receipt of the pupil premium do less well than their peers in external exams. The aim of the funding is to try to close that attainment gap.

The Service Premium

We also receive funding for our students whose parents are in the forces. This is known as the Service Premium, but the statistics for these students are separated from those who receive the Pupil Premium.
