This webpage contains information on how students can remotely access Idsall School's online learning and communication apps.
The school's portal and intranet home page ‘RM Unify’ is available to both students and staff to access school resources from home. It provides links to cloud based systems such as, Google Drive and Docs, and Accelerated Reader by allowing users to enter one username and password. There are also links to other systems, for example Office 365, Kerboodle, Linguascope and My Maths.
To logon:
- Go to the school website idsallschool.org
- Select Quick Links on the top right hand side.
- Select the option-'RMUnify'.
Sign into RMUnify by entering your school username (this is your school computer username, not the full email address), and your school password. Tick the box ‘Remember my username’. Click ‘Sign in’.
Arbor is the new portal from September 2023 that replaces Edulink and Satchel One. This portal is a one-stop shop where all student information is stored from e.g., student attendance, behaviour, timetables and homework. Students can access Arbor from RM Unify via the school website (see above) by:
- Choosing the Arbor tab from RM Unify:
- When logging in for the first time choose the option 'First time Logging in?'
- Enter your school email address: username@ids.mmat.co.uk and click on 'Set password'
- A password reset link will be sent to your school email address which can be accessed from RM Unify:
- Click on this link and enter a new password and confirm the password.
- Once this is complete for all future logons enter your school email address and password that you've set for Arbor.
Parents and carers can log onto the Arbor Portal by
- clicking https://login.arbor.sc/
- installing the Arbor App on their phone. For Arbor related issues see the FAQS on this page.
This gives students access to an Idsall School Windows workstation as though they were logged in at school by entering their school username and password.
Student's logon to Dr Frost using their school email address and the password given to them by their math's teacher. If it has been changed, they can either contact their math's teacher or click on the 'forgotten your password' button to reset it. They must enter their school email address and reset password link will be sent to their school email account.
Direct Mail Access
We are using Office 365 for school email. To directly access email, users login to https://outlook.office365.com/owa using their school email address (username@ids.mmat.co.uk) and their network password. Your student network username is given to you when start Idsall School and will remain the same until you leave. It is the username that you use to log on to the school computers with.
Your password for the school network is the password that you logon to the school computers with.
Your school email address is username@ids.mmat.co.uk
If you are in school then come and see us in the IT Support Office (via B5).
No a student is not automatically signed in through RM Unify or they cannot use 'Log in with Microsoft'. They have to use their idsall school email address and setup a new password (see Arbor Portal-student access).
No, unfortunately the Arbor App is only for parents/carers and students cannot download or use it.
If you haven't received an email from Idsall School via Arbor then you can do the following:
Download the ‘Arbor App’: iPhone App Android App or go to https://login.arbor.sc/ enter your email address and click ‘forgotten password’. You will then receive an email from: no-reply@mail.arbor-education.com with a reset password link. Please check your junk/spam folders for this email. For further information on how to use the App and Portal please click here.
Please install the Arbor App for School communication. However, we have been made aware that some views are limited within the App e.g., the timetable is daily and not weekly. Unfortunately, Idsall School cannot modify the ‘App’ and therefore if you have issues please email Arbor support: https://support.arbor-education.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
