We are very proud of the huge range of clubs and after-school activities which pupils are encouraged to participate in. 'Session Six’, as it is known, provides many opportunities to take part in music, drama and sports, as well as a regular ‘Homework Club’ in the school Library. The school employs sports coaches and peripatetic teachers to support this programme and many staff give of their time freely to run these extra sessions. Revision sessions also occur throughout the year which are included in the 'Session Six Spring Term 2023' PDF below.
The list below gives examples of our current provision. However, these do change, so please do not consider the list to be definitive. Details of each day's after-school activities are communicated to each tutor group at morning registration.

We provide a coach service so that pupils who stay behind after school are able to get home safely. Pupils must report to reception at break time on the day they require transport home and book and pay for their place. The bus leaves school promptly at 4.25pm for Cosford, Albrighton, Priorslee, Randlay, Stirchley and Hollinswood and the cost is £1.50, unless pupils have a green late bus slip authorised by a teacher, in which case this charge does not apply. The green slip will only be authorised if the pupil is staying at school until 4.15 pm for a teaching or learning need, which has been requested by a teacher. If they do not have money for the journey they will be asked to obtain a token from finance or telephone a parent to collect them. Please Note - There are no late buses after school on a Friday.
