Sixth Form

Idsall School has two options at Sixth Form, namely the Sixth Form Centre or the Skills Centre. The Sixth Form Centre is for students taking either 'A Levels' or 'BTEC' in academic subjects. Whereas, the Skills Centre is for students taking a skills based course in 'Construction'. Both Sixth Form options are very popular and highly effective in getting students on the right career path. Where do you see yourself in a year’s time, or even in three years time?

Choosing the right courses and the right place to study next year are probably the most important decisions you will make during the next few months.

Idsall has an outstanding reputation as a place that offers students excellent standards in education and a high quality environment within which to develop their personal skills. Being a student at Idsall means having the very best support to help you turn your hopes into possibilities and to make those possibilities into realities.

Sixth Form Prom

The Sixth Form at Idsall is a natural progression for many of our own Year 11 students who wish to continue their studies at advanced level in a college environment where they feel known, valued and well supported.

Mr Sehejpal with Elliott who was the winner of the  'I Did It' award. This is award is voted for by teachers and recognises students who have triumphed over adversity during their Sixth Form career. We are very proud of these recipients.

An ever increasing number of students from other schools are joining us in Year 12 and as a result the Sixth Form has now grown to fill its capacity of just over two hundred students. Rather than expand further, we have chosen to make offers only to those students who meet our high expectations in terms of attitude and involvement in community life as well as in high academic achievement. This means that you can be sure of working with others who share your own commitment to make the most of every opportunity and to achieve the very best examination results.
