AT Brown Bus Service 2024/2025
Idsall School and AT Brown have provided a successful home to school transport service together
for many years. This year we have moved the administration of this direct to AT Brown and their
parent company Lakeside Coaches.
Below is the list of coaches and the current pick up / drop off stops; this is subject to change
depending on student uptake:
Bus Number 1 currently operates through Hollinswood and Priorslee. The route and pick up times
are as follows:
8.18am Deercote
8.19am Dallamoor
8.20am Duffryn
8.25am Everglade Road
8.27am Priorslee Avenue – Powell Road
Bus Number 2 is the St Georges/Priorslee Bus and operates the following route:
8.18am Crest Road/Checkley Lane
8.21am Stafford Street (opposite Elephant and Castle)
8.22am Priorslee Road or Stafford St
8.24am Priorslee Avenue – Coniston Drive (Clock Tower)
8.28am Gatcombe Way
8.30am Hereford Drive
Bus Number 3 is the Newport/Donnington Bus which operates the following route:
8.00am Stafford Road / Vineyard Road
8.02am Newport Bus Interchange
8.04am Newport Girls’ High School
8.06am Red House Bus Stop
8.11am Marshbrook Way
8.15am Little Theatre
8.18am Aldi
8.20am TA Centre
8.22am One Stop (Trench Road, Stanmore Drive)
8.25am Asda Donnington
Bus Number 4 will accommodate students from Randlay and Stirchley on the following route:
8.08am Opposite Heath Hill Industrial Estate, Dawley
8.11am Finger Road/Hinkshay Road
8.13am Brackenfield, Brookside
8.15am Grange Avenue
8.20am Randlay Farmhouse/Randlay Avenue
8.21am Stirchley Ave, Brands Farm Way
8.23am Stirchley Avenue – Havenwood
8.25a.m Holmer Farm Road
At this stage, times and routes are under review until we gauge interest and numbers.
Please register your interest by 1st July to enable us to have an idea of numbers in time for a September start. This can be done via the AT Brown website, please indicate which bus you will require. This is just an expression of interest and you are not committed to this service at this point. The link is:

AT Brown will contact you again via email nearer the time with a link to log in and pay for your ticket, a QR code will then be emailed to you which the driver will scan on each journey to allow students to board the transport. This can be saved on your child’s phone or printed on paper.
The cost of the service for 2023/24 is £265 per term; plus an annual admin charge of £10; (This is subject to review annually by AT Brown and will be confirmed for 2024/2025 – this can be paid by monthly direct debit or annually)
