Join us for our Sixth Form open evening on the 5th of November. All are welcome!
As a school we are always trying to improve our communication with home. Those of you that have had children here for some time will have seen us use a variety of different methods of communicating how your child is progressing in school. This has sometimes meant that communication has come from different perspectives.
Recently we have changed our main way of monitoring all data for students by moving to a Management Information System called Arbor. One main reason we have done this is to allow parents instant access to information about their child(ren).
By using Arbor, you will be able to monitor your child’s attendance, punctuality, rewards and sanctions, see club information, book school trips and update any medical information regarding your child. You will also be able to update contacts and important parental information, all via the parent portal. The portal has been designed to support all family dynamics, so that more than one parent can have access to it, without seeing each other’s private information. If you have more than one child at Idsall, you will be able to switch between each of their accounts easily.
Your child will also be able to access this information via their own account – in addition being able to see their own calendar, ensuring they can keep track of their own schedule and home learning more efficiently.
To set up your parent portal account visit https://login.arbor.sc/ and select the link to first time logging in. Add in the email address that this message was sent to and you will get an email you can use to set your password and log in.
Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to download the app which will make accessing your account even easier.
Arbor Parent Portal app can be downloaded on both Android and IOS devices by visiting the play store or app store and searching for Arbor. If you have any issues downloading the app, we would be happy to assist, please give us a call on 01952 468400 and we will get the right person to contact you to support.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
