What About Choices After A-Levels?

If you are considering employment after A-Levels, employers look favourably on a History A-Level because of the skills you will have developed – these include analysing problems, clarifying issues & putting them into perspective, research, forming & supporting opinions and communicating your judgements to others in a variety of ways. History is a good stepping-stone for a wide range of degree courses and graduate employment in many areas such as Archaeology, Broadcasting, Civil Service, Conservation, Heritage Management, Journalism, Law, Museums, Personnel, Marketing, Police, Teaching and many more. Research in the Careers Library to gain more details or ask for a Careers interview.
