We are delighted with the GCSE results this year. There were some particularly strong results in the core subjects with 84% of students in both English and Maths getting a Grade 4 or better. A whole range of subjects experienced improved results compared to the last full set of exams in 2019.

Many of our students have stunning sets of results. Examples of these are Elif Cetin: nine grade 9s, Oliver Hill: eight grade 9s and one grade 8, Abigail Jones: eight grade 9s and one grade 8, Grace Brown: seven grade 9s, two grade 8s, Ellie Warrender: seven grade 9s and two grade 8s, Nathan Wood: four grade 9s, three grade 8s and two grade 7s, Dan Field: seven grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7, Mark Adams: one grade 9, five grade 8s and two grade 7s.

Headteacher Michelle King stated “Our Year 11 students have been a credit to the school with the way they have coped with the disruption to their education during the last three years. I am delighted that students will be able to go on to the next stage of their education with strong results and a large number of students are staying on in our Sixth Form. We are proud of all our students and wish them well in their future careers.”
