Dear Parent/Guardian,

PE Department Year 7 JCA Netball Weekend - Friday 10th – Sunday 12th May 2019

A JCA netball weekend is the ideal way to improve the teamwork, fitness and motivation of school teams. The weekend offers a netball tournament interspersed with a range of exciting and challenging adventure activities. There are only 20 places available on this trip and should the trip be oversubscribed names will be chosen at random to attend. The trip is being offered to Year 7 pupils. It is expected that students who sign up for the trip will attend weekly extra-curricular netball sessions and represent the school in competitions.

The provisional itinerary is as follows:

On arrival: Orientation and meet the JCA Team
7pm-9:00: Party leader welcome meeting and evening activity
Saturday 11th May -
9:00am-12:30pm: Round robin netball matches

7pm – 9pm: JCAL evening activities – Disco or quiz
Sunday 12th May –
9:00am – 1:45pm: Continuation of round robin netball matches. Year group semi-finals and finals. Activities for non-playing teams.
