Idsall School is delighted to celebrate the fantastic examination results of our outstanding students. Despite the challenges posed by Covid over the last two years, Idsall students have done us proud with 22% grades at A/A* and 57% at A*/B.
There were many amazing individual results as well. The tremendous triplets, Ashton, Kade and Rhys Hennessy, proved a triple threat achieving stunning results of A*/A/A, A*/A*/A and A*/A*/A*! They will now attend their first choice Russell Group Universities.

Joshua Hill also achieved a full set of A* grades and will take up a place at Oxford University to study Biology. A keen environmentalist, Joshua has already spoken at national conferences on the subject and will doubtless continue to excel at degree level. Emily Bracegirdle-Morais and Georgia Turner have also had their hard work rewarded with places at the University of Birmingham to study Medicine. Many students have already secured places with a range of Apprenticeship providers as well, and go into those positions with well-deserved excellent results.
Lorna Smith, Head of Sixth Form said, “There are too many individuals to name – and we know we will continue our excellent run of results next year. Currently, our Sixth Form is undergoing a huge renovation, demonstrating our commitment to investing in our students and providing a modern, purposeful environment for them to thrive”.
So whilst we say congratulations and goodbye to this brilliant cohort, we look forward to a bright future and, hopefully, even better results!
