Home Study
We recognise that regular high quality homework which is closely related to day time learning activities is a very important feature of successful learning.

The expectation for homework set across the curriculum at Idsall School for the following Key stages are :
Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9) at least one homework task for every 4 hours of teaching. Tasks should take approximately 30 minutes
Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and 11) at least one homework task for every 3 hours of teaching. Tasks should take approximately 45-60 minutes
Key Stage 5 (Years 12 and 13) it is expected that as a minimum for every hour of study in the classroom there will be an hour of study out of the classroom
