A-Level 2 BTEC qualification in Construction

Grade 5 or above Maths and English

Standalone Course

Move on to HNC - HND level 4, 5

Students must achieve a grade total of at least 5 in English and Mathematics, with no grade less than a 2. Successful applicants must also have a reference that communicates they have a good attitude to learning, good behaviour and a good attendance record. Applicants must demonstrate a hard working attitude and enthusiasm for the subject. Experience in the construction sector is advantageous, but not essential. You must also attend a formal interview with the course leader.

This is a standalone course and cannot not be studied with any other qualification except if you are required to continue studying English and/or Maths.

What About Choices After BTEC?

Students who study Construction can expect to go on to study a HNC or HND in Construction. Alternatively, they could go on to do an apprenticeship in Brickwork and Construction.
