Session Six
We are very proud of the huge range of clubs and after-school activities which pupils are encouraged to participate in. 'Session Six’, as it is known, provides many opportunities to take part in music, drama and sports, as well as a regular ‘Homework Club’ in the school Library. The school employs sports coaches and peripatetic teachers to support this programme and many staff give of their time freely to run these extra sessions. Also during the Spring and early Summer Terms, we run Session Six GCSE Revision for Year 11 which can be found on our "Exams Results & Timetable" page under the School Information Menu.
The list below gives examples of those that have run in the past. These do change, so please do not consider the list to be definitive, but it does give some idea of the kind of things that go on. Details of each day's after-school activities are given in the daily bulletin sheet which is delivered to each tutor group at morning registration.

We provide a coach service so that pupils who stay behind after school are able to get home safely. The late buses leave school at 4.15pm sharp for Albrighton, Priorslee, Randlay, Stirchley and Hollinswood. The cost is £1.20 per person unless pupils have an AT Brown bus pass, in which case they don't have to pay. Pupils pay the member of staff on duty when they board the bus. They do not board the bus until a member of staff is present. If they do not have money for the journey they will be asked to return to reception to telephone a parent to collect them. Pupils who live in Sherrifhales should give their name and money (£1.20) to the receptionist at morning break time as a taxi will order if required. Please note there are no late buses after school on a Friday.
