Homestudy
We recognise that regular high quality homework which is closely related to day time learning activities is a very important feature of successful learning. All students are expected to complete homework, and are issued with Home Study Planners to help them to organise it and to get it in on time. We like parents to check on homework and to contact the school if they are concerned about it in any way.
The Study Planner has a space for parents to sign each week to let us know that they have seen it. There is also a space for parents or teachers to attach notes or messages, although this is not the best means of communication if there is an urgent concern. A note to the Form Tutor or a phone call is likely to be more effective. If the student loses their planner for some reason, then new ones can be purchased from Mrs Shimmons in the Finance Office.
